Information Open House April 21
March 25th, 2009Here’s your chance to get the skinny on The Cole Creek Project! Plan to attend our information open house Tuesday, April 21, at Roncalli Catholic High School, 6401 Sorensen Parkway. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 6:30 to 8:00pm.
You’ll be able to learn more about the project, how it will affect your neighborhood and how your school, church or civic group can participate. You’ll also be able to talk to members of the project team and take a tour of the project area. The evening will also include an information fair and free giveaways while supplies last.

Faith and the Environment
March 12th, 2009Project Interfaith and the Kripke Center for the Study of Religion and Society will present “Faith and the Environment: Christian, Jewish, Muslim and Native American Ways of Approaching Environmental Issues” Sunday, March 29. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at Creighton University in the Harper Center Ballroom from 1:00 to 5:00pm.
The program is intended to educate the larger community about how different religious traditions and belief systems view environmental stewardship. Information about The Cole Creek Project will be available at the Omaha by Design table in conjunction with the conference’s information fair.
